According to information documented by this Human Rights Centre, there exists an imminent risk in San Marcos Avilés ejido, municipality of Chilón, that for the second time a forced displacement of the support bases of the Zapatista Army of National Liberation (BAEZLN) may be carried out by inhabitants of the same ejido who are affiliated to the Institutional Revolutionary Party (PRI), the Party of the Democratic Revolution (PRD), and the Green Party of Mexico (PVEM).

According to new information released by the Council of Good Government (JBG) "new seed that will produce", based in the community of Roberto Barrios, official municipality of Palenque, there has been an intensification of attacks, threats and harassment of the support bases of the Zapatista Army of National Liberation (BAEZLN), which could end with an imminent displacement of the autonomous community of San Patricio, in the Rebel Zapatista Autonomous Municipality of La Dignidad, official municipality of Sabanilla in the northern zone of Chiapas.

According to information received by members of the Centre for Human Rights, through the Council of Good Government (JBG) "New seed that will produce" based in the community of Roberto Barrios, official municipality of Palenque, there is an imminent threat of various acts of harassment, threats and possible forced displacement of the inhabitants of the autonomous community of San Patricio, autonomous municipality La Dignidad, official municipality Sabanilla in the Northern Zone of Chiapas.

We share here new information as a follow-up to Urgent Action 01, which this Human Rights Center (Frayba) published this past February 2nd with respect to the arbitrary detention of 117 indigenous tseltal individuals who are ejidatarios [communal landholders] and adherents to La Otra Campaña [The Other Campaign] from San Sebastián Bachajón, in the municipality of Chilón.
